Strengths: Eventually, after some struggle you can tune it to very nice picture mode...
Weakness: HORRIBLE PRESETS. Bad, VERY 'narrow' Picture Quality controls! SD card Ultra II/FAT32 NOT detected by tv (what? it supports only old and slow cards?)
Finally! After struggling for a week It appears that I was able to adjust settings to more so manageable levels. I'm upgrading this review to 4 starts from previous 3 starts... Main reason is that Factory settings are horrible! Total of 5 ways to watch this plasma hdtv trough selecting one of these presets [Standard/THX/Game/Custom/Vivid], and only 2 of them are usable - Game and Custom. Other...
Strengths: Refresh rates, smooth video.
Weakness: Extremely poor image adjustments. Existing presets are horrible ("Game" and "Custom" are so-so). Panasonic not giving user chances to adjust image, range is VERY small! I should've got 46"/60HZ Sony!!
I feel like I was 'taken'... by Panasonic. I cannot return this thing, and to hire a specialist with image calibration tools is $300! Panasonic making good advertising, and it feels like plasma can display better midtones, but user cannot adjust picture to get that. This TV is totally NOT flexible! They advertising 'deep blacks' - yepp, they got that. And these deep blacks are flooding all...
Strengths: PICTURE QUALITY, 3 x HDMI, THX mode, Game mode, easy menu structure, detailed picture adjustments, Beach Camera price!!
Weakness: As mentioned by other reviewers, the built in audio quality is a little sub-standard. No other complaints at all
I spent a full 3 months investigating different HDTV's - LCD, LED, Plasma - I had absolutely no preconceived ideas about the various technologies, I was just looking for the clearest, most natural picture in the $1000 range. I was in my local Best Buy store so often that other customers started thinking that I worked there! I can honestly say that the G10 blew me away the first time I saw it and...
Strengths: Excellent picture, simple operation
Weakness: HDMI Audio, Poor backlighting on the remote
While other manufacturers are pouring everything into LCD technology, Panasonic is refining the Plasma TV. We are very pleased with the picture and did not go through a lot of effort calibrating the picture. We did change the color temperature to Cool2 and selected the THX picture preset. We left everything else at the default seettings. Over the air picture is very good and channel changes are...
THE GOOD: Superb black-level performance with excellent shadow detail; highly-accurate primary colors and grayscale in THX mode; great color saturation; uses less power than previous 1080p plasmas; VieraCast provides access to select Internet services. THE BAD: Expensive; less-accurate green color decoding and secondary colors of magenta and cyan; limited light output in THX mode; skimpy picture...

Display is Average according to 4 Flat Panel TV experts. -- "excellent shadow detail"-reviews.cnet.com -- "the screen size difference is great enough to warrant another hands-on evaluation when that model becomes available"-reviews.cnet.com -- "Noise reduction was solid, on the other hand, as all three noise reduction settings, especially Mosquito, contributed to removing motes and snow from...

Strengths: Eventually, after some struggle you can tune it to very nice picture. "Technology" is new, but application is weird.

Other looks like some drunk was fulling around and created these "presets". This...
