I reviewed this and other products in stores in my area: Best Buy, Costco, WalMart, and finally selected the LG32LH40. Primarily due to LG's reputation and the high resolution, contrast (70,000:1) and response time (2.7ms). I also needed a unit that would fit into a 32 1/4" opening in my entertainment center that has doors that close. I purchased this LG 32" from Butterfly.Com via Pricegrabber...

Strengths: Great TV for a great price. Bought it when it was 699$ Love everything about, really lit up my video games letting me see so much more. Everything is so pretty! lol
Weakness: Its just kinda like having a microscope, everything looks better and clearer but you can now see certain detail faults in the games you maybe couldn't see before. But I think thats just LCD in general
Beach Camera is a great merchant with some of the best prices on the net and fantastic customer service. I found the right TV for me on there website and they were willing to hold it for me so I could buy it the next day and even charged me the latest (lower) sale price after I had placed my order earlier but it had not been processed. I used 7-9 day delivery and FedEx got it here in 6 days....
